Play

Play is one of the best ways for children to learn and develop their communication skills.

Children develop play skills by having lots of opportunities to explore toys, objects, and activities that interest them. Through play, children learn about the world around them, develop their imagination, and practise new skills.

Play also helps children learn and use sounds, such as animal noises and vehicle sounds. As their play skills grow, children begin to use their first words and gradually build their vocabulary. Every time you play together, you are helping your child’s speech, language, and communication skills to develop.
