The Specialist Assessment Service provides assessment, diagnosis and support services for children/young people with complex medical and/or developmental needs including difficulties that may indicate an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The Specialist Assessment Service has two teams:
- The Autism Team is a specialist multidisciplinary team which provides assessment and diagnosis of Autism in Solihull for 0-18-year-olds.
- The Complex Medical Needs (CMN) Team works with children aged 0-5 years who have significant physical difficulties and developmental delay.
